The Wikipedia translation: “The psychological process of bringing one’s attention to the internal and external experiences occurring in the present moment, which can be developed through the practice of meditation and other training”.
The benefits of outplacement (or transition) coaching for employees who have to move on is well documented but how do companies benefit? Some considerations:- (1) Promotes ‘external’ company image and brand: important for your customers, suppliers, future tenders and prospective future new employees. (2) Promotes ‘internal’ company image: portrays a positive company image to retained employees, that their colleagues were valued, have been well treated – maintaining morale.
