Job Description:  Working as part of the Information Management team, you will become an expert technical consultant specialising in the availability and data protection disciplines.  You will be expected to liaise face to face with the IT departments of various organisations, implement best of breed solutions as well as forge relationships with new and existing clients.

 

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role will possess at least 3 out of the list of the following competencies:

 

  • Unix/Linux System Administration
  • Windows in an Enterprise environment
  • Virtualisation
  • Database Administration
  • Networks
  • Any experience of Symantec products such as SF, VCS or NetBackup (Veritas)

In addition you will possess the ability to think on your feet, with a dynamic outlook and will have excellent communication skills.  You will be an integral part of a highly skilled team and must be able to work on your own initiative with the minimum of supervision. Location is flexible but this role involves UK wide travel so you will need to possess a valid UK driving license.
