Individual Outplacement & Personal Career Support
Organisational change is all around us, however for some of us when the ‘merry-go-round’ of change stops there are unfortunate consequences where we find ourselves faced with a redundancy situation......    

Our career and transition programmes are designed to help you during this difficult time by:-     

  • Recognising the emotional impact this may be having on you and others around you; 
  • Building self-confidence and offering practical and positive support;  
  • Giving you space and time to explore. Where you are now?  Where do you want to be?  
  • Take a stroll down ‘career avenue’.  What do you do more of? What do you want to less of?  
  • CV preparation, application forms and covering letters – making sure you really stand out from the crowd;
  • Interview Skills and Practice (role play activities and video exercises). We often only get one chance to get off to a good start and make that first lasting impression;  
  • Marketing - targeting the right audience, guidance on job search tools, networking and contacts;
  • Making a good impression and reading in between the lines – important questioning and listening techniques.  

Building a strong coach and coachee relationship is vital.  The relationship will be based on trust and openness on both sides, with the content of sessions remaining confidential.   

All sessions will commence with a contracting session, where expectations and ground rules will be jointly agreed. You will be encouraged to reflect on your experiences using Reflection Notes and record your learning or actions on Progress Review and Personal Learning Plans.  

We can offer flexibility in the number, timing, frequency and location of sessions, the choice is yours.  

All sessions include telephone and email support and the option to include psychometric assessment material. 

All coaching and/or mentoring sessions are confidential and will be delivered by an FCIPD member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and accredited Coach, qualified through The OCM (previously the Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring) and conducted in-line with the strict code of professional conduct and ethics:-
